1Day…

“…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

1Day Tokyo is a collaborative effort with the goal of bringing people and groups together for three common purposes:

1) AWARENESS of the NEED
By making others aware of the needs of the Japanese and those working for Christ in Japan, a larger prayer and financial base can be grown. This also allows for others who are interested (on any level) to become more educated and in turn, create pockets of fruitful discussion and motivation for further involvement with Japan Missions. It’s all about connection.

2) COLLABORATION to FORTIFY
By offering a portal of information and cross-connection for the general public as well as missionaries in Japan, we believe this will only strengthen all who participate. Because the Internet is so full of…well, full of anything you can imagine, we felt this cause needed to be simple and clear with the hope of building ministry, personal, and business relationships in the process.

3) ENCOURAGEMENT to がんばる (PERSEVERE)
We realize the mission field in Japan has its difficultities. I believe for the very same reason, the fruit of that labor is much more valuable. It’s like mining for diamonds. They don’t just fall out of the rocks when you dig a hole. They are hard to find, difficult to mine, but the value is unlimited because it is not seen in its fullness until it is cut and polished.

We believe, based on Mark 11:23, that Japan can and will be saved as a nation — from its downward spiral of false beliefs, social issues, family fallout, idols and materialism.

The Japanese are a wonderful people who have much to offer the world!

We love the Japanese people and culture. This site is meant to help others to work together in order to help bring salvation through Christ alone to Japan. If you are inclined in faith to believe together, you are more than welcome to participate in the comments and forum portions of this site.
